The typeface of a typewriter - originally a Brother, later on (from 1995) an Olympia. Typeface is from 1990 till 1999 the vital element of the layout for all invitations and posters. Modus operandi: type all data, take them to the copy shop, enlarge the typoscript (the artist's name usually is at its largests, the data about location and time a bit smaller and the crox logo in between), all of this reassembled in a strict pattern, and once more to the repro shop for copying at an indefinite number of x copies.
From 2003 crox enters the digital age. Courier New is henceforth the home typeface.
For the books, a set of Simoncini Garamond is acquired with a company in Frankfurt, the typeface Les Editions de Minuit uses.
