crox 433/2, 17 maart - 14 april 2013. Witloofteelt. In de kubusruimte wordt in de mate van het mogelijke voor de bij het ontkiemen van witloof noodzakelijke temperatuur gezorgd, 13 à 14°C. Lange tijd ziet het er naar uit dat het experiment op een mislukking dreigt uit te lopen, tot DS, enkele dagen voor de finissage op 14 april, de oogst binnenhaalt en er witloofsoep mee maakt.
crox 447, 22 september - 20 oktober 2013. Solo presentatie in een van de zalen voorin. Presentatie van Things Made Visible, een uitgave van Huis Hut met een overzicht van het werk van 2011 tot 2013. 112pp, 28 euro.

PAINTING TODAY. The dimensions of the paintings pictured in the book "Painting Today" (Tony Godfrey, Phaidon Press, 2009) are analysed. According to the ratio height-width, 9% of the paintings are found to be square paintings, against 48% landscape rectangular and 43% portrait rectangular.
For those three categories the mean dimensions (height x width in cm) and their standard deviations are respectively:
- 161 x 161, s = 87
- 165 x 254, s = 85 and 154
- 184 x 141, s = 87 and 72
The mean dimensions of all categories together are:
- 173 x 197, s = 87 and 131
These results give rise to a series of 4 works.
- Painting today 1 is a table containing all the dimensions of the paintings in the book. Its size is 165 x 254 cm in accordance with the main landscape rectangular size.
- Painting today 2 an 3 are stretchers made out of plywood. The size is the main of respectively all portrait rectangular paintings or all square paintings in the book.
- Painting today 4 contains all the contours of the paintings in a chararcteristic colour of the painting. When the dimensions of the work exceed the size of the paper (173 x 197 cm), the line at the edge of the paper is continued underneath or beside it in opposite direction. The work is interrupted after painting 248.
