Inge Braeckman on BRAINBOX (H-art N°14, blz.26): 'Art should always give an answer to what its predecessors have done. It is an adagium the Latin-American author Jorge-Luis Borges honoured till the very end of his life by claiming that every great artist re-invents his forbears. The arts are about movement and countermovement, looking back and gazing forward.'
In the crox-box, www.crox-box.blogspot.com, there are some references to the universe of Borges and the labyrinthine library containing an endless number of libraries. Two footnotes: BASICS 2 (2005/2006) and VERZAMELWOEDE (2007).
