2011. crox 357. Project in the space at the end of the corridor. Other projects during the same period by van Susanne Kutter (DE), Hannelore Van Dijck and the artists duo Harri de Ville (BE/FI). The dynamics in Willeke's work are astounding. Compositions based on photographic relics, usually in large sizes - two by four meters isn't exceptional - in which the photographic starting point is absorbed in the painted matter in a powerfull and uncompromising way.
