Asparragos, a documentary by Laura Zuallaert. It has two versions, the original, edited by Laura, and a shorter one, re-edited by the VRT [public broadcasting organisation in Flemish-speaking Belgium] intended for the lcd-screen viewing audience. The original is an absolute masterpiece. The lcd-screen version in a three penny piece, it is all much faster than necessary or preferable; it all becomes fast food. Even the shorter version is excellent, not to say a masterpiece, but the original does a lightyear, and that is precisely the difference between fastfood and the real thing.
